Child Safety Standards

Effective date: October 26, 2026

HemaReach is a community app for adult blood donors. It is for users aged 18 and over only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) anywhere on our platform.

1. Who can use HemaReach

  • Registration requires a date of birth confirming the user is at least 18 years old. Accounts that do not meet this requirement are refused.
  • If we learn that a user is under 18, we close the account and delete its data.

2. What the app does not allow

  • There is no public profile, no user-to-user messaging, no photo sharing between users, and no user-generated content visible to other users. Donors see only alerts from verified hospitals and blood banks.
  • Any content, behaviour or attempt to use the platform to sexualise, groom, exploit or harm a minor is prohibited and leads to immediate and permanent removal.

3. How to report a concern

  • In the app: Profile → Help and report a concern opens an email to our safety contact.
  • By email: [email protected], subject "Child safety report".
  • We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and act on confirmed cases immediately.

4. How we act

  • Confirmed CSAE or CSAM leads to immediate account termination and preservation of relevant records.
  • We report CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the UAE authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
  • We comply with applicable child safety laws in the countries where HemaReach operates.

5. Designated contact
